I spent some time with Royce at Velocity Cycling http://velocitysportscycling.com in Binfield this week having a bike, saddle and cleat fit. Turns out that the real-time pressure point analysis showed I'm sitting WAY too far forward on the saddle. We moved it forwards a whole 4cm - with dramatic effect. See the before and after images below:

We also checked my instep with a heat sensitive pressure pad and spent some time playing with the position of my bars on the Watt Bike and on my bike:

Having optimised my position Royce was then able to dial in the measurements and geometry of the Ti frame a bought last week and was able to advise on the right Seatpost / Stem combination to make that frame work for me.

Fascinating stuff - not cheap I know - but when you think of it as a percentage of what you spend on the bike(s).........@Velocity_SC royce.murphy1@gmail.com
