Sometimes 'free' is worth it

We had this fella return to the 'shop recently to cure an annoying squeak from the Bottom Bracket. While it was in I noticed that the gears were sluggish going from small to large cogs on the back, yet fine in the other direction. A small adjustment was all that was required to sort this out. You know when you buy a bike and you usually get a 'free service' for when the bike has been ridden a bit? I know most of us don’t bother - but this is exactly the sort of thing they will tweak. After all it takes those miles for cables to bed in. It’s also the sort of thing we will sort out if you book in for a ‘Health Check’ Service #JustSaying.
